Sheikh Abdullah Al Salem Cultural Centre is one of the world’s largest cultural Complexes. It comprises 4 Pavilions: Natural History, Science and Technology, Arabic Islamic Science and a Space Museum.
The Natural History Museum provides a one in a lifetime amazing experience in its ecosystem gallery, which takes visitors in a south east Asia rainforest canopy, a mangrove ecosystem and finally the marine beauties of indo pacific biotops through the discovery of many Aquariums. and an impressive 1,5 million liters Shark tank with an acrylic walkthrough tunnel.
The Museum was developed by the Office of His Highness the Amir (Al Diwan Al Amiri), with the vision of delivering world class exhibitions and public educational programmes, to facilitate knowledge transfer and encourage independent and collaborative, research-based learning.
