Oceanopolis is at the cutting edge of European Conservation and Marine science. We are Proud to have been awarded all their Aquarium Projects since inception.

Much more than just an Aquarium, Oceanopolis is an Ocean Discovery Park. Since 1990 Oceanopolis has recounted the natural history of the Oceans, with a mission of scientific mediation through pedagogy and creativity.

With 77 Aquariums, 4 million liters of water, more than 10 000 specimen and 1000 species, Oceanopolis is a flagship in Marine environments’ European knowledge.

Since the onset (1990) Philippe de Lacaze – CEO of CLEAR REEF - has spearheaded all Oceanopolis Aquarium Projects on a design/build basis (Temperate Aquarium Pavilion in 1990, Tropical and Polar Aquarium pavilions in 2000, Otter tanks in 2011).
